I got my BSc in Automation Engineering at ATEI Thessaloniki, Greece. Followed a one year pre-master course in University of Twente, Netherlands in the departments of Biomedical Signals and Systems. I ended up doing my master in Automatic Control and Robotics in Universitat Polytechnic de Catalunya (UPC) in Barcelona, Spain. There, I specialised in Humanoid Robots but nowadays my interests follow every aspect of Robotics, from mechanical design and electronics up to behavioural skills and - recently - cloud development social skills.
Robert Guardia Santesmases
I am Robert Guàrdia, an industrial engineer specialized in Electronics from Univeristat Politecnica de Catalunya (UPC). I did my M.Sc thesis in Belgium and the topic was head pose estimation from 2D/3D images, using openCV and P.C.L. I started as an Electrical Engineer at Valldoreix Greenpower, developing and maintaining power control systems, both hardware and software, for renewable energy installations. I then moved to CleanDrone SL, developing software and hardware for autonomous solar panel cleaning UAVs and autonomous solar plant inspection. Prior to joining everis – NTT Data, I worked at IRIS Advanced Engineering developing industrial monitoring applications.
Gonzalo Nuño Estevez
Hi! I'm Gonzalo, an Electronic-Automatic engineer who enjoys working with all types of robots. After completing my Bachelor's thesis focused on Autonomous Navigation for Nano-Quadcopters, I worked as an R&D Engineer in HP for two years. But something was missing... HP does not have robots to play with... To fill that emptiness, I enroll in the UPM Robotics and Automatics Master, and currently I'm working on my Master's thesis as an intern. During my free time I like to play sports, take photographs and travel around the world.
Leonardo Andres Diaz Fragachan
Hello! I'm Leo, an Electronics Engineer from the USB in Venezuela. Currently I'm finishing a master on Automatic and Robotics at ETSII, UPM while being an Intern here at everis - NTT Data. I've always been interested in robotics and AI, and how will human-robot interactions be in the near future. At the moment I'm working on improving this interactions by developing a system for robots to keep attention on the person or persons which it is interacting with.
Carlos de Ros
Hi! You can call me Carlos. I'm finishing my studies in Electronics Engineering of Telecommunications specialized in Robotics BSc from La Salle Barcelona. My work is mainly focused on robotics navigation, I've been always working with robots. I was an intern in the Robotics department of my University, where I was focused on teaching robotics and electronics. But now I've taken a path more focused on the research and development and I'm working as an intern developing ROS navigation packages.
